Gateway National Recreation Area
Technically, this gallery is devoted to the Staten Island unit of Gateway NRA. More specifically, it's devoted to Fort Wadsworth, highlighting Fort Tomkins and Battery Weed. An impressively massive pile of masonry looming over the Hudson River, it's probably one of the least known bits of architecture in New York City.
But, rather than listening to my words, please enjoy a brief visit to Fort Wadsworth through the camera's lens...
